Ha Long – Van Don Expressway

Along the Ha Long – Van Don Expressway, rapid variations in topography, geology, and hydrology, together with heavily dissected terrain and relatively steep slopes, have created diverse geological hazards such as landslides, slope failures, erosion, rockfalls, and rolling rocks (classified in accordance with TCVN 13346:2021). Therefore, multiple slope stabilization solutions were required throughout the project.

Within this project, Vinh Hung implemented slope stablization solutions using high-strength steel mesh systems combined with shear connectors. In addition, flexible rockfall barrier systems were installed at locations with high risks of rockfalls and flying rocks to ensure safety for road users and vehicles traveling through the area.
