The Son La City Bypass Route is a project item under the Vietnam Road Asset Management Project financed by the World Bank (WB), with project adjustments approved by the Ministry of Transport under Decision No. 2297 dated December 11, 2020.

The project has a total length of 18.87 km, starting at Km289+950 on National Highway 6 and ending at Km308+820 on National Highway 6. The route was constructed to Class III road standards with asphalt concrete pavement and was completed in December 2022 under the management of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam.

Within this project, Vinh Hung implemented slope stablization and rockfall protection solutions using high-strength steel mesh systems combined with shear connectors and polymer-based triaxial geogrids for surface erosion control.
