THE VIETNAMESE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND THE CHINESE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT HAVE STRENGTHENED THEIR COOPERATION IN MANY FIELDS

In the framework of the official visit to China (from 10 - 15 September) by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the senior delegation of our State, at 11:00 (local time) 13 September 2016, Minister of Transport, Truong Quang Nghia, had a meeting with China's Minister of Transport, Li Xiaoping. Joining the delegation of the Ministry of Transport were representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing, Director of International Cooperation Department Le Tuan Anh, Deputy Chief of the Ministry of Transport Vu Thanh Trung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Airlines Corporation Pham Ngoc Minh.

VINHHUNG SUPPLIES BEARINGS FOR GHENH NEW BRIDGE

On 20.03.2016 there was a collision from a barge into Ghenh Bridge on Dong Nai River, at location Km1699+860 causing 02 spans to collapse and traffic paralyzation of the north-south rail service that connects Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Ghenh bridge connected roadway and railway, so when it collapsed the iron bars and railroad tracks fluttered and fell into the river.

"SWEET FRUIT" FROM HIGHWAY PROJECTS

Currently, the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has put tolls into operation on three highways: Cau Gie - Ninh Binh, Noi Bai - Lao Cai, and TP. Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay with a total length of 350km. These high-speed projects, when put into use, have been brought into full play, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, national security and defense for localities passing through in particular and the whole country in general.
