Phuoc An Extradosed Bridge Project
Commenced in June 2023 with a total investment of more than VND 4.877 trillion, the Phuoc An Bridge Project is managed by the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Transport and Agricultural Infrastructure Project Management Board. Upon completion, the bridge will become a key component of the transportation and logistics infrastructure network in the Southeast region of Vietnam.
The bridge has a total length of approximately 4.3 km, connecting Phu My Town (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province) and Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai Province). The project includes 3.5 km of main bridge, 47 m of approach roadway on the route, and 617 m of port access road. Designed as an extradosed bridge combining girder and stay-cable systems, Phuoc An Bridge will be among the longest bridges in Vietnam and features one of the largest main spans in Southeast Asia, with a distance of up to 250 m between the two main spans.
Under this project, Vinh Hung serves as the contractor responsible for the supply and installation of the stay-cable system, with a total quantity of 387 tonnes of stay cables.
