The Vung Ang – Bung Expressway project commenced in January 2023 with a total investment of more than VND 12.54 trillion. The starting point is located at the interchange in Ky Tan Commune (Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province), connecting to the Ham Nghi – Vung Ang Expressway. The endpoint is located in Cu Nam Commune (Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province), connecting to the Bung – Van Ninh Expressway. The section through Ha Tinh Province is 13 km long, while the section through Quang Binh Province extends over 42 km.

The project is managed by Project Management Unit 6 under the Ministry of Transport. Within this project, Vinh Hung implemented slope reinforcement and rockfall protection solutions using high-strength steel mesh systems combined with shear connectors, completed in 2025.
