The Mai Son – National Highway 45 Expressway (through Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces) is one of the 11 component projects of the Eastern North-South Expressway during the 2017 – 2020 phase. The project commenced in September 2020 with five construction packages, a total length of more than 63 km, and a total investment exceeding VND 12 trillion funded by the State budget. The project owner is Thang Long Project Management Unit under the Ministry of Transport.

Within the project, Vinh Hung implemented slope stablization and rockfall protection works using flexible rockfall barrier solution.
