Contract Package No. 14: Construction and traffic control during construction. Project: Raising vertical clearance of Binh Phuoc 1 Bridge on National Highway 1
Following nearly a year of continuous day-and-night construction, the project to raise the vertical clearance of Binh Phuoc 1 Bridge was completed and officially opened to traffic on the morning of December 23, 2025, bringing a new appearance to one of the vital connection routes in Ho Chi Minh City. With a total investment of VND 110 billion, the project was invested by the Road Traffic Infrastructure Management Center under Contract Package No. 14 – Construction and traffic control during construction.
Vinh Hung Trading, Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company served as a member of the main contractor consoritium, directly executing the bored piles, new pier caps, load transfer jacking into new piles, embanking of the two approach roads, maintaining traffic control, and completing the works for handover to the investor.
This project demanded high technical standards and involved complex construction methods, requiring absolute precision, close coordination, and the highest sense of responsibility from the team of engineers, officers, and workers on site.
The completion of the Binh Phuoc 1 Bridge vertical clearance raising project is considered a major step in Ho Chi Minh City’s efforts to synchronize road and waterway traffic infrastructure. It helps untangle a bottleneck that persisted for many years, creating economic and social development momentum for the northern gateway of the city and its neighboring regions.
