Contract Package XL01 – Project for renovation and upgrading of National Highway 1A, section from Nga Bay Town (now Nga Bay City), Hau Giang Province to Chau Thanh, Soc Trang Province
The project for renovation and upgrading of National Highway 1A through Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces is one of eight key transport infrastructure projects launched by the Ministry of Transport at the end of December 2021. Invested by Project Management Unit 7 under the Ministry of Transport, the project spans a total length of approximately 19.8 km, traversing Nga Bay City in Hau Giang Province and Chau Thanh District in Soc Trang Province. Specifically, the section running through Hau Giang Province extends 8.9 km, while the section through Soc Trang Province covers 10.9 km.
The total investment exceeds VND 1,680 billion, funded through the public investment budget. This includes nearly VND 446 billion for site clearance and resettlement, and over VND 966 billion for construction costs. Within this project, Vinh Hung participated in Contract Package XL01, directly executing the construction of Kenh Dao Bridge and Mang Ca Bridge.
