Description project

Hau River South Road was opened in early 2011, using aggregate based bituminous treated surface structure, after 5 years of putting into operation so far, deterioration and local damages have appeared. Meanwhile, the Hau River South Road, National Road 91 and 91B along the Hau River, forming the most important horizontal axis in the region, connect the West pole and the East pole of the country.

According to the proposal, the project has a starting point at Km 0 + 000, which is the intersection between NH1A at Km 2072 + 268 (3/2 Street in Can Tho city) and National Highway 91B - Can Tho. The last point at Km 147 + 652 is the intersection with National Highway 1A at Km 2178 + 235, in Bac Lieu town. The length of the route is 147.652 km.

The investment capital of the project is expected to be funded with the State budget, government bonds and other lawful capital sources. If approved, the project is expected to start construction in Q4/2017 and complete by the end of 2019.
