Description project

The National Highway 45 – Nghi Son Project is a component of the North–South Expressway, converted from a public-private partnership (PPP) to public investment under a resolution by the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The project runs 43.28 kilometers through Thanh Hoa province, with a total investment of approximately VND 5,534 billion, broken down as follows:

Construction and equipment: VND 3,193.2 billion
Site clearance and resettlement: VND 1,494 billion
Project management, consulting, and other costs: VND 328.8 billion
Contingency (excluding site clearance): VND 518.3 billion
The construction period is approximately 2 years, and the project was completed in 2023.

The project is divided into investment phases:
Phase 1: 4 lanes; 17-meter roadbed; Design speed: 80 km/h
Final Phase: 6 lanes; 32.25-meter roadbed; Design speed: 120 km/h
