Description project

Vinh Tuy Bridge project phase 2 will build an additional bridge parallel to the phase 1 bridge downstream; The phase 2 bridge center is parallel and located 21.25m from the phase 1 center to the downstream of the Red River with an identical shape as the phase 1 bridge. The total investment in this project is about VND 2,538 billion, expected to be completed in 2022.

The bridge is designed permanently with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete with design load HL-93 according to TCVN11823-2017, withstands earthquake level 8. The total length of the bridge and approach road is about 3,473 m; the starting point is at Km0+840, intersecting with Nguyen Khoai and Minh Khai streets; the ending point is at Km4+312.62, intersecting with Long Bien - Thach Ban and Co Linh streets. The bridge cross-section is 19.25m, equivalent to four lanes.
