Sai Gon Bridge 2

Saigon Bridge 2 was built along with the old Saigon Bridge connecting Binh Thanh District with District 2. The bridge has a total length of 987m, the road section 2 of the bridge is 350m long, the second section 117m.

The Sai Gon 2 Bridge Project will be implemented to reduce the load on the existing Saigon Bridge clearing traffic jams and improving traffic capacity at the Northeast gate of the city. This is the first large scale project by CII as an investor. Saigon Bridge 2 is an important project at the gateway of the city to the north-east, which is expected to help transport more easily between cities and the central and northern regions.

The bridge will be constructed in April 2012 and will help reduce the long-standing traffic congestion on the existing Saigon Bridge. The cost of this project is estimated at 1,490 billion VND in the form of build-transfer.
