Noi Bai - Lao Cai Freeway

The Ha Noi - Lao Cai expressway (code-named CT 05) is 265 km long, with the starting point being the intersection between National Highway 2 and North Thang Long - Noi Bai expressway (Hanoi) and ending at Quang Kim (Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province).

This freeway is part of the Trans-Asia Highway AH14. Most of the highways will go along the banks of the Red River. The route will go through five provinces and cities: Ha Noi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Lao Cai, connecting the Kunming - Hekou Expressway of China and being part of the development project.
