Description project
The construction of Ben Thuy II bridge linking the two central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh started in Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province with an investment of VND 1,260 billion from government bonds.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung emphasized that the construction of Ben Thuy II Bridge on the Lam River mainly aimed to upgrade the transportation network along National Highway 1A, focusing on sections from Vinh city (Nghe An province) to Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh province). The bridge has a total length of 2,940 m and a width of 25 m, including 4 lanes of high-speed vehicles with a speed limit of 80 km/h. The second objective of this bridge construction is to attract more investment into the north of the center to facilitate socio-economic development.
