At the beginning of 2025, Vinh Hung successfully produced and exported the third batch of station bearings for installation at the Malolos-Clark Railway Project in the Philippines, following two shipments in 2024. The continued trust and selection of Vinh Hung to supply critical components such as station bearings, basin bearings, rubber bearings, steel pins, and shock absorbers for this key transport infrastructure project is a clear demonstration of the company’s superior manufacturing capacity, rigorous quality management, and the confidence that international investors and contractors place in the Vinh Hung brand.

The Malolos-Clark Railway Project is a 53.1-kilometer (33.1-mile) line connecting Malolos City to Clark International Airport and the Special Economic Zone in Central Luzon, Philippines. Once completed in 2025, the MCRP is expected to reduce travel time between the two areas to under one hour. The project is funded by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and it is the Philippines’ first airport high-speed railway.

The station bearings supplied by Vinh Hung meet the AASHTO LRFD design standards and are subject to strict quality control from raw material inspection through to production and final packaging.

During the input stage, all raw materials are checked for dimensions, origin, and quality certifications. Samples are sent to the factory’s laboratory for testing and evaluation, and also submitted to an independent external lab for comparison. This ensures that the materials meet all criteria for physical mechanics, chemical composition, operational safety, and stability. Only materials that pass these checks are approved for use in production.

In the production stage, Vinh Hung applies a welding quality management system in compliance with ISO 3834. Welding procedures follow the standards of the American Welding Society (AWS) and ISO 3834. All welders and non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel are assessed and certified in accordance with AWS, ISO 9606, and ISO 9712. A designated Welding Coordinator oversees and ensures consistent quality throughout the entire welding process.

The finished bearings undergo a series of in-house tests, including vertical compression, horizontal load, rotation angle, sliding modulus, and friction coefficient testing. To ensure objectivity and reliability, additional tests are conducted at an independent external laboratory, monitored by Vinh Hung quality engineers, customer representatives, and third-party evaluators designated by the contractor.

After passing all quality evaluations, the products are packaged and shipped for installation at the project site.

Since 2023, Vinh Hung has consistently been selected as a supplier for major infrastructure projects in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, and Cambodia. The export of this latest shipment not only reaffirms the exceptional quality of Vinh Hung’s “Vietnam National Brand” products but also demonstrates the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises to meet rigorous international standards and strengthens their position in the global supply chain.
