VINH HUNG JSC COORDINATE WITH MACCAFERRI GROUP IN ORGANIZING “ROCKFALL MITIGATION SOLUTION” WORKSHOP

Maccaferri is an Italian multi-national group with a development history of more than 140 years and currently present in more than 100 countries. This is the leading unit in the world in providing solutions in the civil construction filed, especially Rockfall mitigation, terrain stability solution. Vinh Hung is honored to be a pioneer to cooperate with Maccaferri to introduce and apply these new technologies in Vietnam.

There are 40 delegates participating the workshop from PMU7, Transport Engineering Construction and Quality Management Bureau, Southern Transport Engineering Design Inc (Southern TEDI), Transportation limited Company, Tan Phat Technology and Trading Limited Company.

Speaking at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Manh- Head of Technical Department, University of Transportation and Communications said: "Currently, there is a surface instability for slopes at Hanoi - Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi and Ha Long - Van Don highway resulting in landslides, rockfalls and dangers for residents. Being fully aware of the importance as well as the necessity of prevention of rockfall, Viet Nam General Department of Road has issued the decree TCCS 23: 2018 / TCĐBVN on protection of the slopes by high-strength steel nets of corrosion resistance adhering to design and construction standards”.

Mr. Debi - Director of Maccaferri Group in Asia - Pacific region, shared about new solutions such as: grid and anchor system of landslide prevention, soft fences of rockfall mitigation. They are known as advanced solutions applied in many countries all over the world with high technology and practical results.
