Central Highlands Regional Transport Connectivity Enhancement Project

The Central Highlands Regional Transport Connectivity Enhancement Project has a total length of 143.6 km, including 17 km in Binh Dinh Province and 126.34 km in Gia Lai Province, with a total investment of VND 3.6544 trillion (equivalent to USD 155.8 million). The project is financed through an IDA loan of USD 150 million, counterpart funding of USD 3.7 million, and a non-refundable grant of USD 2.1 million from the Australian Government. The project is managed by Project Management Unit 2 under the Ministry of Transport.

Within this project, Vinh Hung implemented positive slope reinforcement solution using high-strength steel mesh systems combined with shear connectors, and reinforced negative slopes using reinforced soil retaining walls with anchored gabion facing panels.
