Contract package XL no. 7 for the construction of Ong Thin Bridge belongs to the National Highway 50 construction and expansion project.

National Highway 50 spans approximately 88 km, starting from Nhi Thien Duong Bridge in Ho Chi Minh City, passing through Can Giuoc, formerly in Long An Province and now in Tay Ninh Province, and terminating at the section of National Highway 1A, formerly in Tien Giang Province and now in Dong Thap Province. Upon completion, the National Highway 50 expansion project will play an important role in enhancing traffic capacity and creating a driving force to promote economic connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and other localities in the Mekong Delta region.
