The Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien Metro Line No. 1 is a landmark project that marks a major milestone in the development of public transportation in Ho Chi Minh City. With a total length of 19.7 km, the line connects Ben Thanh Station in District 1 to Suoi Tien Station through 14 stations, including 3 underground stations and 11 elevated stations. The route consists of a 2.6 km underground section from Ben Thanh Station to Ba Son Station and a 17.1 km elevated section from Van Thanh Station to Suoi Tien Station.

With a total investment of VND 47 trillion, the metro line is equipped with 17 modern trainsets, each capable of carrying up to 930 passengers. The system is designed to serve approximately 620,000 passengers per day and operates at maximum speeds of 110 km/h on elevated sections and 80 km/h in underground sections.

Under this project, Vinh Hung supplied bridge bearings and prestressing anchorages and directly executed waterproofing works for Contract Package 1A – “Construction of the Underground Section from Ben Thanh Station to the City Opera House Station.”
