GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF AN DONG BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

Present at the ceremony, President Nguyen Minh Triet requested the local government to create all favorable conditions for the concerned parties to complete the project, to bring economic benefits and to ensure security for local people.

The State President also said that he hoped in the near future, Ninh Thuan would become a developed locality and a center of nuclear power and scientific and technological development in the whole country.

With a total length of 3,526 meters, the An Dong bridge will cost over VND 1.3 trillion and is expected to be completed in 36 months.

- The total length of the route: 3,5 km; in which the two-side link road of the bridge is 2,5 km, the part of the bridge is 1,0 km.

- Level of road design: secondary urban street.

- Cross-sectional width: 27 m, width of bridge: 20,5 m
