Installation of noise barriers along the most beautiful high altitude route in Hanoi

On November 18^th 2021, Vinh Hung JSC is erecting noise barriers along ring road 3 - Nam Thang Long – Mai Dich section with a total length of more than 5.3 km (more than 10 km in both directions). In addition to minimizing the volume of noise affecting the surrounding area, the noise barrier also has the ability to block the wind, increase driver's concentration, and increase safety for people and vehicles in traffic.

To service the construction process, Vinh Hung has continuously employed 8 engineers and approximately 35 construction workers, which is expected to be essentially completed by the end of December.

The assembly uses the concrete core drilling technique to assemble steel supports.

So far, the structural unit has only installed soundproofing panels, since the investigation of the noise level takes time after the route has been commissioned.At each drilling site, the construction unit will employ approx. 2 people, one of whom is responsible for cleaning the water from the drilling site with foam pads in order to avoid unsanitary conditions on the construction site.

Vinh Hung contractor shared that the company has installed noise-proof panels because it takes a long time to study the noise level after the route comes into operation.

The soundproofing panels are made of special plastic, the height from the road is 3 m. The entire part of the noise wall is processed and completed by Vinh Hung before being transported to the construction site for installation. Due to the prefabricated frame, the installation process of each panel only takes about 10 minutes.

The workers are using cables to fix the noise-proof wall panels to prevent the noise-proof panels from being hit by a large vehicle such as a container or a truck.

In addition to installing noise-proof panels, up to now, the investor is also speeding up the construction progress of branches connecting up and down at Hoang Quoc Viet intersection, Co Nhue intersection, and the section in front of the Ciputra urban area. Each of these intersections will be built with 2 branches, including the way up and the way down. The scale is one car lane and one emergency lane.
