SEMINAR ON FEBA EXPANSION JOINT AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

On Oct 18th, 2018, HaNoi Department of Transportation in collaboration with Hanoi Road and Bridge Association and Vinh Hung JSC organized the Seminar on Feba expansion joint and technology construction, applied to bridge Works including construction, management and maintenance investment.

Feba expansion is joint of USL – the UK that Vinhhung is the exclusive supplier in Vietnam was officially installed in 2012 at the first project for Truong Xa bridge – Highway 39- Hung Yen province.

Feba has been applied in many big projects such as Ha Long – Hai Phong highway, replacement project of 81 degraded bridges along the key national road of 25 provinces, Southern coastal corridor project with a total length of 220km…

At the Seminar, Mr. Lee Boon Tech- Director of USL at Asia – Pacific region introduced Faba and BEJ including features, preeminent, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and procedure of several projects in the world as well as in Vietnam in recent years.

Mr. Lee acknowledged all the opinions and responded to any questions from the representatives related to the professional issues.

Speaking at the Seminar, Mr. Tran Danh Loi - Chairman of Science and Technology Association of Hanoi City Bridge and Road said, “society is developing and innovating, the mindset of road and bridge industry needs to be changed to meet such a general development trend to approach nearer to the world”. Mr. Tran Danh Loi assessed that “Seminar is highly specialized and Vinh Hung JSC is always a leader in approaching advanced technology in the world to meet the development trend; Vinh Hung is also a unit that has produced bridge bearings whose products have been supplied to many national key projects with quality not inferior to the imported goods”.

The Seminar lasted nearly 3 hours helping participants and delegates approach, update new information and technology in the world as well as a learning experience from the Feba Suppliers of USL, Vinh Hung JSC to expand and develop further this product in Vietnam market.
