CHOOSE THE FIRST CONTRACTOR OF DA NANG – QUANG NGAI EXPRESSWAY PROJECT

On 17th April 2013, Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway construction project has an important step when Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) - The employer had chosen the first contractor. The selected contractor of package 3A is Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No.4 (CIENCO4) - Thang Long Corporation (TLC) joint venture.

Package 3A, Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway construction project is one of 13 packages of this project. Package 3A includes constructing the Ky Lam bridge, across the Thu Bon bridge, with a length of 1.220m. Ky Lam bridge was designed by reinforced concrete, pre-stressed reinforced concrete, with separate parts. The total value of the package is 1.416 billion VND (equivalent to 67,8 million USD - including 10 VAT value-added tax and 15%  provision). The execution time is 34 months.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dong - Deputy Minister of Transport, join the signing ceremony of Package 3A, Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway construction project. He also said that the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway construction project has started many years, but preparation work was slow. Deputy Minister of Transport direct VEC, the contractors to accelerate the preparation, start construction as soon as possible, complete the project by 2017.

Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway construction project is an important project in the central region. The total length of this project is over 140km, including 131,5km of the expressway and 8,02km connection road with NH1. The total width of the road is 26m, by asphalt concrete, with 06 traffic lanes.
