“BRAVING THE SUN, CONQUERING THE RAIN” – DELIVERING A SERIES OF KEY PROJECTS BY AUGUST 19

Rach Mieu 2 Cable-Stayed Bridge

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge project has reached over 99% completion.

As one of Vietnam’s key national transport projects, the Rach Mieu 2 cable-stayed bridge plays a strategic role in connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces while easing traffic congestion on the existing Rach Mieu Bridge.

For this project, Vinh Hung is the contractor responsible for supplying and installing the cable-stayed system at the two main pylons, P19 and P20, with a total volume of more than 471 tons of cables. To date, Vinh Hung has completed the stressing of 112 stay cables using parallel strand systems (PSS) with 31 to 55 strands per bundle, and is now carrying out final works including the installation of dampers, cable cutting, and grout injection.

Overall progress has reached approximately 99%, with the project entering its final stage to be inaugurated on August 19.

“Crossing the Finish Line” with Tunnel Waterproofing

Also scheduled for completion in time for the August Revolution anniversary are the Phu Thu Tunnel (Hà Nam) and the An Phu Tunnel (Ho Chi Minh City). In both projects, Vinh Hung serves as a subcontractor, supplying materials and executing waterproofing works to protect the structures from groundwater, humidity, leakage, and potential damage caused by water intrusion, soil movement, and chemical agents.

The Phu Thu interchange and connecting road in Tien Hiep Commune, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province, is one of the province’s key transportation projects, spanning more than 34 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND 1.4 trillion from the local budget. Vinh Hung has been supplying materials and carrying out waterproofing works for the Phu Thu Tunnel since October 2024. As of now, the tunnel has essentially completed all required works for its technical opening on August 19.

Meanwhile, the An Phu interchange (Ho Chi Minh City) is a major project comprising a three-level structure – an underpass, an overpass, and connecting roads to arterial routes – with a total investment of more than VND 3.4 trillion. Vinh Hung is responsible for implementing all waterproofing works for the HC1-01 tunnel section. The company is currently in the final sprint to complete waterproofing for the pump station and the K9 and K10 crown sections.

Noise Barriers

100% domestically manufactured sound-absorbing panels used on the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway.

Along the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, Vinh Hung is supplying and installing both sound-absorbing and sound-reflecting noise barriers. Notably, 100% of the sound-absorbing panels for this project are manufactured and assembled at Vĩnh Hưng IP Factory – a strategic milestone in the company’s localization of high-tech products. This enables strict quality control at every stage of production while shortening delivery schedules. The works are expected to be fully completed by August 19, as committed.
