VINHHUNG WINS BIDDING AWARD OF WATERPROOFING CONSTRUCTION FOR THE PACKAGE OF VUNG TAU INTERSECTION UNDERGROUND TUNNEL

Project of constructing new Dong Nai bridge and two ends of the bridge from Tan Van T-junction to the end point of the bypass route of Bien Hoa city will be in form of BOT (Build- Operate-Transfer). This is a key project of Dong Nai Province, invested by Construction Corporation No.1 (CC1), consisting of the main items: Tan Van intersection, new Dong Nai bridge, Vung Tau intersection, old Dong Nai bridge, rehabilitation of the frontage roads into the roads system of the project area …

Vung Tau intersection 

Vung Tau intersection is one of the important packages of the entire project with the total length of 1,6km including the underground tunnel and frontage roads system under the bridge. The underground tunnel is designed of 2 lanes with the total width of 9m and designed speed of 40km/h. Besides, CC1 continues to upgrade the location on Highway 1A from Amata intersection to Vung Tau intersection with the total length of nearly 5km. The total investment fund for bridge, road and underground tunnel construction is over 1,056 billion vnd with the expected completion time of 18 months (from April 2016 to October 2017)

The project is invested to create the traffic synchronization and smooth for Binh Duong - Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai - Ba Ria Vung Tau via connecting National Highway 1 and National Highway 51 at Vung Tau heading to Highway 1K. The completed project will reduce the traffic load for Highway 1 when  traveling from National Highway 51 and the eastern areas of Dong Nai province to National Highway 1K and vice versa, the the distance from Vung Tau crossroads to the north of HCMC will be shortened accordingly. The efficiency of investment in the construction project of the new Dong Nai bridge and the second bridge will be improved to partially contribute to the socio-economic development of Dong Nai province and the southern key economic region, especially to awaken the potentiality of the legendary island.

With high reputation for quality, progress and professionalism in construction management, Joint Venture of Construction Joint Stock Company 14-9, Huy Thuc Construction and Investment JSC, Vinh Hung Trade, Consulting and Construction JSC was selected to be the main contractor for construction of Vung Tau intersection underground tunnel (The route linking Highway 1, Highway 51 with Highway 1K and An Hao bridge)

With the experience and success from construction of waterproofing system of Trung Hoa intersection underground tunnel, Vinhhung continue to be responsible for waterproofing construction for Vung Tau intersection underground tunnel. Together with 02 other members of Joint-venture, Vinhhung do the commitment of completing the Project with quality, progress and safety responding to the trust of Investor.
