Vinh Hung exports 4 mould systems for MCRP Package CPN-02

The mould systems Vinh Hung manufactures and supplies for the Malolos-Clark Railway Package CPN-02 (Philippines) are tailor-made to the customer's technical requirements in different sizes and shapes, with an estimated total of about 2000 of elements. Some elements weigh only 0.05kg while the biggest element has a weight of up to 1 tons. All element requires almost absolute accuracy with very tight tolerance ranging from 1mm to 3mm. In addition, requirements for flatness, gap and step are strict with the maximum values of about 3mm and the contact surfaces need to be continuous to ensure that all details of the connections and joints can be seamlessly installed on construction site.

All mould systems made by Vinh Hung are in according to EN 1090-2 Execution 3 of steel structures and aluminum structures. The welding procedures follow the Bridge Welding Code - AWS D1.5. The manufacturing process of the mould system is studied and closely coordinated between Vinh Hung engineers and the contractor to meet SPEC of the project. Each stage of manufacturing is supervised by Vinh Hung’s QC engineer and representatives from Bureau Veritas. Besides, the contractor also sent engineers to Vinh Hung’s factory to inspect several important stages.

In June and July of 2022, Vinh Hung has exported 4 mould systems of for MCRP Package CPN-02. The rest is still under production and is expected to be delivered by the end of this year.
