The workshop provided a lot of information about the new types of expansion joints

At the seminar, the General Director of Asia Pacific USL Corporation (GJP Group), Mr. Lim Boon Teck introduced to the delegates 4 types of expansion joints: Uniflex expansion joints, FEBA expansion joints, NJ expansion joints, and BEJ expansion joints with outstanding features such as simple design, fast construction, efficient use, minimizing traffic interruption as well as good elastic rubber film, ability to withstand elongation (up to 300%)...

According to recent survey results, on the Vietnamese market today, there are several types of expansion joints that are commonly used such as bitumen stuffed expansion joints, sliding steel joints, and 50mm rubber joints. During use, the above types of expansion joints have not met the requirements of smoothness, noise reduction, and service life.

Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Tan Man - VIBRA Vice President, Former Deputy Minister of Transport said: This seminar aims to provide basic information on all types of products (which have been used for concrete bridges in many countries around the world, and recently in Vietnam). Thereby, delegates can have the correct information and come to the right decision when using expansion joint products to ensure quality, longevity as well as with more reasonable prices.
