The Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station Urban Railway Line has a total length of 12.5 km, including 8 elevated stations and 4 underground stations, connecting Nhon in the western suburbs with Hanoi Railway Station in the city center. The elevated section from Nhon to Cau Giay is 8.5 km long, while the underground section from Cau Giay to Hanoi Railway Station extends for 4 km. As the second metro line to enter operation in Hanoi after the Cat Linh – Ha Dong Metro Line, the project contributes significantly to reducing road traffic congestion and improving the quality of public transportation in the capital.

The project has a total investment of VND 34.826 trillion and is financed through ODA loans from four international donors together with counterpart funding from Hanoi City. The implementation period spans from 2009 to 2027.

At this project, Vinh Hung supplied materials and directly carried out waterproofing works.
