The Mai Son – National Highway 45 Expressway, located in Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces, is one of the eleven component projects of the Eastern North – South Expressway developed during the 2017 – 2020 phase. Construction began in September 2020 and included five civil works packages covering a total length of more than 63 km, with a total investment exceeding VND 12 trillion funded by the State budget under the management of the Thang Long Project Management Board of the Ministry of Transport.

In February 2024, Vinh Hung completed the installation of noise barriers for the Mai Son – National Highway 45 Expressway project. Acting as the main contractor, Vinh Hung was responsible for the design, manufacturing, and installation of approximately 7,000 m² of noise barriers at densely populated locations along the route.
