Contract Package XL06: Construction of Cai Nhuc 2 Bridge and approach roads, repair of the existing bridge and traffic safety system under the Quan Lo – Phung Hiep route surface renovation and upgrading project
Operational since 2009, the Quan Lo – Phung Hiep route spans a total length of 119.3 km. It runs parallel to the Quan Lo – Phung Hiep canal, traversing four provinces: Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Liêu, and Ca Mau, with its starting point in Nga Bay Town (Hau Giang Province) and ending point in Ca Mau City (Ca Mau Province). However, after more than a decade of operation, the route has deteriorated, posing significant traffic safety risks.
The consortium of Truong Loc Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Vinh Hung Trading, Consulting, and Construction Joint Stock Company won Contract Package XL.06 (Construction of Cai Nhuc 2 Bridge and approach roads, repair of the existing bridge, and traffic safety system) with a winning bid of 111.751 billion VND, reflecting a 2% discount (the package budget was 114.072 billion VND).

Vinh Hung Scope of Work
- Repair damages to the existing bridge: Dismantle old expansion joints; install 1,172 m of new Febar expansion joints (5 cm displacement) and 719 m of finger expansion joints (10 cm displacement); scarify and resurface 26,522 m² of asphalt concrete deck.
- Construct the traffic safety system: Apply 17,480 m² of 2 mm-thick road markings; install traffic signs, guideposts, H-posts, and semi-rigid guardrails.
