Noi Bai - Nhat Tan Street

On August 1, the Ministry of Transport started the construction of Package 1, the connecting road project from Noi Bai airport to Nhat Tan bridge, this is an important project, the gateway to a thousand-year-old capital. Project Management Board no.85 is the representative of investors, and this package is executed by Cienco 4.

On July 6, 2011, the Ministry of Transport issued Decision No. 1478/QD-BGTVT approving the bidding results and deciding on the winning contractor for Package No. 01:Construct on the Km 0+00- Km 1+ 539.48 route connecting road project from Noi Bai airport to Nhat Tan Bridge for Transport Construction Corporation 4 (Cienco4) Contractor with the value of 277,710,202 Japanese yen + 664,189,790 VND equivalent to 735,344,145,776 VND; Contract form according to unit price and construction time 870 days. The project's capital source is JICA loan (Japan) and counterpart capital from Vietnam.

With accumulated experience through many important traffic works construction, Cienco4 is gradually asserting itself with firm steps, which are highly appreciated in the basic construction of the Ministry.

Currently, Cienco 4 is constructing many major national traffic projects, especially in Hanoi capital, this Corporation is constructing the following works: Package No. 1, Package No. 3, Ring Road 3; Nhat Tan Bridge; Dong Tru Bridge; Phu Dong Bridge. Among those works, Package 1, Ring Road 3, Hanoi starts from Mai Dich to Trung Hoa road with nearly 3,600 m long. 

The construction scope is within the median strip of Ring Road 3, phase 1. The construction schedule is 29 months. The total value of the project is more than 1,416 billion VND, started construction 3 months ago, this project is currently being promoted by Corporation, ensuring it reaches the finish line on schedule and achieves high quality and aesthetic factors.

Previously, at the Phung Bridge project, Package 3 of Ring Road 3 project to celebrate 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi is typical of creativity, dynamism, and drastic in construction organization, is the willpower to dare to think and do it, is the spirit of all Cienco4 staff and engineers’ cooperation which has completed on time, contributed to the success of 1000th Anniversary. That marked the new steps of Cienco4‘s workers on thousands of years of civilization land, the political, administrative, cultural, and economic center of our country.

Over many years, Cienco4 had made steady steps and is known as a strong unit of the transportation industry in the basic construction field, by its capacity, experience, and optimal construction organization measures to complete large projects on schedule.

The corporation owns a modern equipment system with many advanced technologies, meeting all requirements of concurrently executing many large projects. Some typical equipment and technologies such as Double-bladed balanced cantilever technology with large aperture; equipment and technology for drilling bored piles with large diameters from 1m to 2.5m with depths up to over 80m, especially deep drilling in hard rock foundations over 30m.

Among nearly 6,000 employees, there are 1,540 engineers and bachelors of economics, including dozens of technical masters majoring in road and bridge construction. Technical staff are capable and qualified; In addition to experienced, enthusiastic, and professional staff, there is a team of young engineers and technicians who are good at expertise, dynamic, and creative in their work. In 2011, in the context of the Government's implementation of inflation control policy, it directly affected to production and business activities of the capital construction enterprises in general, especially those who use capital from Government bonds. This Corporation is no exception, new projects signed in 2011 have been postponed. Projects funded by the state budget and government bonds that have not been completed and must be delayed, thereby directly affecting jobs and workers' lives.

Faced with that situation, the Corporation's leaders quickly came up with solutions to remove and overcome investment capital and job search such as increasing participation in ODA-funded projects, expanding business forms in order to maintain production, ensuring jobs, and stabilizing the lives of workers.

The Corporation has implemented the brand development project until 2015 by ensuring the construction progress, quality, environmental safety on all projects that they build, ensuring prestige before investors, customers...

In the first 6 months, revenue was 1,602 billion dong, reaching 114% over the same period last year, payment was 2,299 billion dong, reaching 159% over the same period last year, and employee income was 4,603 million dong/person/month.

Especially in the first 6 months of the year, the Corporation won the contract and implemented many projects with a total value of 2,364 billion VND, including package No. 1, Ring 3 - Hanoi project with a value of more than 1,416 billion VND, Dua Do bridge 67.7 billion VND, package No. 7 of Hanoi - Lao Cai highway project 352 billion VND, An Hoa bridge 75 billion VND, Nguyen Tri Phuong - Da Nang bridge 452 billion VND, The package of railway overpass - NH1A expansion project of Nghe An PMU is 293 billion VND and many other projects Corporation is carrying out the procedures to prepare to start construction…

And today, starting the construction of package No. 1, connected road project from Noi Bai airport to Nhat Tan bridge not only affirms its prestige and brand name but also the honor and pride of bridge workers, Cienco4 road has contributed to perfecting the traffic infrastructure of Hanoi capital.

Total investment: 277,710,202 Japanese yen + 664,189,790 VND equivalent to 735,344,145,776 VND (Seven hundred and three five billion, three hundred four four million, one hundred and forty-five thousand, seven hundred seventy-six dong). 

Construction time: 870 days.

Construction of the route and works on the route Km 0+00- Km 1+ 539.48 under connecting road project from Noi Bai airport to Nhat Tan bridge with a total length of 1,539.48 m (from the explanation Km 0+00 to Km 1+539.48) located within Dong Anh district, Hanoi city; including 1,145.43 m of road, 01 railway overpass (Km 1+328) L=384,049 m, 01 Nam Hong overpass (Km 0+171) L=295,120m.

As for the main road from the route Km 0+00 to Km 1+539.48: The width of the roadbed is 32 m, the road surface is 22.5 m; Width of driving lanes (6 lanes) 2 x 3 x 3.75m); median strip between 3.5 m; Reinforced margins 2 x 2.5 m; Land margin 2 x 0.5 m.

About the bridge, there are 2 overpasses: Railway overpass (Km1+328) L = 394,049 m with 3 routes: main route bridge, left and right bridge; the upper structure of 10 beams SUPER-T, with 198 slabs 38.3 m long, 22 slabs 28.3 m long; The lower structure is designed with reinforced concrete abutments placed on the bored pile foundation system of 251 piles with diameter D=1m.

Nam Hong overpass (km 0+171.0) L=295,120m; The upper structure is in the form of a continuous box girder with 7 spans, the diagram (3 x 40 + 1 x 45 + 3 x 40), the girder is designed in prestressed reinforced concrete form; The lower structure is designed with reinforced concrete located on bored piles foundation with 1m diameter and 58 piles.
