Vinh Hung simultaneously constructs cable-stayed system for Rach Mieu 2 Bridge and Song Dao Bridge

Cable-stayed construction at Rach Mieu 2 Bridge

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge project was commenced in March 2022, with a total investment of VND 5,200 billion. The bridge, with a length of 17.6 km, crosses Tien river and connects Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces. This project is 4 km away from the Rach Mieu Bridge and is estimated to be completed on October 31, 2025. After its completion, Rach Mieu 2 Bridge will reduce the load of National Highway 60 and ease the issue of traffic congestion during holidays.

Vinh Hung JSC was selected as the supplier of materials, including 471.8 tons of cable and 28 stay cable bundles. At the same time, the company also carried out the construction of the P19 and P20 tower pylons.

Following the required schedule, on July 31, 2024, Vinh Hung installed the first bundle of cable for pylon P20; P19 pylon was planned to follow on August 5, 2024.

Spanning of stay cables at Song Dao BridgeP8 pylon of Song Dao Bridge

The project to build the bridge crossing the Dao Bridge project has a total investment of VND 1,200 billion by Nam Dinh City People's Committee. With the implementation timeline from 2022 to 2025, Song Dao Bridge connects Song Hao road (Tran Quang Khai ward) and Vu Huu Loi street (Cua Nam ward) with a cable-stayed design of 16 spans and a total length of 1.6 km. The river crossing length of the bridge is 0.8 km, the approach slab is 0.8 km long and the horizontal section is 20.5m.

Vinh Hung was selected as the supplier of 36 saddle sets, 69.87 tons of stay cables, and other accessories for this project. The company also constructed pylon P8 and P9. In July 2024, Vinh Hung completed the spanning of 2 bundles of stay cables for P9 pylon. The following construction items are being implemented according to the investor's required schedule while ensuring both quality and safety.

Rach Mieu 2 Bridge and Song Dao Bridge projects, as key transportation projects, contribute to improving the traffic infrastructure system, reducing congestion, and stimulating socio-economic development for the regions.
