On February 2024, Vinh Hung JSC officially completed the installation of noise barrier sections on the Mai Son - QL 45 expressway project as the main contractor, responsible for design, manufacturing, and construction of noise barriers at densely populated locations along the entire route.

Specifically, in this contract package, Vinh Hung was trusted and selected by the Project Management Unit (PMU) of Thang Long, the project investor, to install over 7,000m2 of noise barriers along the expressway, evenly distributed in residential areas along the roadside.

Leveraging its manufacturing and construction capabilities from previous projects, Vinh Hung maximized resources, worked with a high sense of responsibility to complete the contract package within the specified timeframe before March 2024, meeting all requirements for labor safety and environmental hygiene.

The noise barriers used in the Mai Son - National Highway 45 project are designed, manufactured and constructed by Vinh Hung Trading, Consulting, and Construction Joint Stock Company. These absoptive noise barriers with a hight of 3 meters from the road surface, are made of metal combined with materials capable of absorbing and blocking noise from traffic, contributing to creating a healthier and more civilized living environment for residents. 

Mr. Tran Van Phong, representing the Technical Department of Vinh Hung JSC, stated that before installation, the noise barrier products and materials had been tested in independent laboratories to ensure compliance with the technical requirements of the project according to international standards such as the FHWA Highway Noise Barrier Design Handbook, European standards EN 14388, EN 14389, Vietnam standard TCCS 45:2022, and standards of other countries such as South Korea, China, and Japan.

In addition to the Mai Son - QL45 project, Vinh Hung's noise barriers have been involved in many large-scale projects in Vietnam and regions, such as:

  • Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (Philippines)
  • Hanoi's City Elevated Ring Road No.2 and Ring Road No.3
  • QL45-Nghi Son Expressway
  • Phap Van – Cau Gie Expressway
  • Ha Long – Van Don Expressway
  • Bach Dang Bridge (Hai Phong)
