VINH HUNG INITIATED SUOI THINH PRESCHOOL, SON LA PROVINCE

Suoi Thinh School stands out with its vibrant red roof amid the majestic Northwest mountains

Suoi Thinh School is part of the Hoa Đào Preschool in Suoi Bau, a school located in a remote mountainous area with 100% H'Mong ethnic students. Faced with severe deterioration and inadequate conditions for teaching and learning, the young students had to travel 4-5km daily to reach the school.

Vinh Hung rallied the support of benevolent individuals to jointly build a new school, equipped with three classrooms, one utility room, one restroom, and ample learning materials for the students.

During the initiation of the new school, Vinh Hung employees delivered various learning materials, toys, blankets, and pillows to the 80 students of Suoi Thinh School, preparing them for the upcoming school year. These gifts, expressions of love, were donated by the children of Vinh Hung employees and other philanthropists to the young residents in the distant mountains.

As part of the event, Mr. Thao A Trang – Chairman of the People's Committee of Suoi Bau Commune, representing the local authorities, and the school's leadership expressed profound gratitude to Vinh Hung and philanthropists. "The new classroom, presented at the beginning of the new school year, is a gift that holds immense significance for teachers, students, parents, and the local community. We deeply appreciate the noble gestures and dedication of Vinh Hung and all benevolent individuals. The 'Mountain schools for kids' program is a deeply humane initiative, contributing to overcoming difficulties for students, teachers, and parents in this remote region."

Mr. Vo Ta Luong – CEO of the company, touched by the local authorities' support and facilitation to complete Suoi Thinh School in time for the nationwide school opening day, shared his sentiments: ‘Mountain schools for kids’ project has been implemented by Vinh Hung for the second year. In the future, we hope to develop a more sustainable plan, making it an annual program of the company, constructing additional schools to continue supporting the journey of these young children in nurturing their futures."
