Phu My – Toc Tien Road Expansion Project

The Phu My – Toc Tien Road corridor was officially upgraded and expanded on February 26, 2025, by the former Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee (now part of Ho Chi Minh City). The project is one of the main transport corridors connecting National Highway 51 and the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway. It has been identified as a key investment project for Phu My, contributing to the completion of the East – West transport network and meeting the growing demand for safe transportation and freight movement connected to the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway.

The upgraded road has a total length of nearly 4.8 km, extending from the 105-hectare resettlement area in Phu My Ward to the intersection with the Hac Dich – Toc Tien – Chau Pha Road.

The road will be widened to 37 m and comprise six traffic lanes, 14 m-wide sidewalks, and a 2 m-wide central median. The project includes comprehensive infrastructure works such as road pavement, sidewalks, curbs, wheel stops, landscaping, stormwater and wastewater drainage systems, street lighting, traffic safety signage and devices, and utility ducts.

With a total investment of more than VND 800 billion, the project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026.

Vinh Hung supplies the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls for installation on the project.
