The project commenced on May 12, 2022, with a total investment of more than VND 4.2 trillion and a total length of 42.55 km. The route begins at Hoa Son Bridge in Bac Ninh Province, crossing the Cau River, and connects with the Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway at the Yen Binh Interchange. The route continues to connect with Phu Tho Province at Nhe Pass in Thanh Cong Commune. The project plays an important role in promoting the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen Province and neighboring localities.

Vinh Hung supplies Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls for installation on the project.
