CONTRIBUTION EFFORTS TO STAMP OUT THE MEASLES OUTBREAK

Really worried when 90% of families in Vinh Hung have children. Mothers and fathers let each other read update news about the Measles pandemic, and many people could not hold back their tears when looking at news such as: on average, more than 50 children died from dangerous complications of Measles; some families who are not overjoyed yet with their first child but have to cry because they lose their child forever; some families have both children being attacked by the measles pandemic, … Really sad!

With the spirit of solidarity which had been cultivated from previous volunteer activities, Vinh Hung staffs were determined to contribute to stamping out the measles pandemic, saving lives of innocent children who are fighting for their lives every day. 

At the same time, the German Organization for Cooperation and Development Giz made an offer to join Vinh Hung in a supporting program to buy ventilators for the Vietnam National Children's Hospital, because the hospital's equipment was not enough to hold the sudden increase of hospitalized children.

In less than 3 days of calling for voluntary donations to purchase ventilators, Vinh Hung and Giz had raised more than 45 million VND. This money bought 02 ventilators and some equipment for the Vietnam National Children's Hospital

Community activities not only bring happiness and luck to those who receive gifts at the right time but much more importantly also, it will nurture, cultivate and enrich the meaning of life, raise the sense of community for each staff. It is the ultimate goal that the Board of Directors wishes when decided to establish a Charity Fund named Vinh Hung.
