SPRING TRAVEL 2015 - TRUC LAM TAY THIEN ZEN MONASTERY
Located in Dai Dinh Commune, Tam Dao District, Vinh Phuc Province, Truc Lam Tay Thien Monastery is known as one of the three largest monasteries in Vietnam. Zen Monastery belongs to Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen lineage. Zen monastery was built on the foundation of an ancient Zen temple (Thien An Thien Tu) dating back to the 3rd century. This is one of the earliest sites of Buddhism in Vietnam.
Although it takes a long walk to reach the monastery, all staffs are all very excited to enjoy the beauty of pine trees, waterfalls, witness the beauty of landscape and people here and especially when they set foot in the Buddha realm

End up the day, also the end of the journey to the Buddha realm, we return to Hanoi but our hearts still remained with the sacred and majestic beauty of Truc Lam Tay Thien Monastery. In the midst of vast expanse and high mountains, each small ancient pagoda hangs on the majestic cliffs. Next to it is the Silver waterfall rushing with white water. Space here is pure and dispels all worries of mundane life. We have more confidence and new motivation for a year of challenging work ahead.
