CHARITY PROGRAM AT K3 HOSPITAL – A MEANINGFUL ACTION

Continuing the tradition of "The leaves protect tattered ones" of Vietnamese people, and also the beautiful culture of Vinh Hung, volunteer activities are always prioritized and promoted by the Board of Directors. On June 10, 2016, Vinh Hung organized a charity trip at the pediatric department – K Hospital, campus 3 in Tan Trieu - Thanh Tri, where a lot of children are fighting against evil cancer every day, every hour.

With the help of the doctors at the hospital, we have met and given gifts to the children in difficult circumstances. Each gift was worth 2 million VND in cash and was used to pay hospital fees for them. In addition, dozens of gifts such as cakes, candies, toys, daily items ... were also given to those who are being treated here.

Having witnessed the children’s extreme circumstances, we partly felt the difficulties and pain that they and their families have to go through in the fight against the disease. Although the physical value was not much, it was from the heart of all employees of Vinh Hung together.

At 5 pm, the charity trip ended, we said goodbye to the children and returned to the headquarters, back to the cycle of work and life worries. But surely, all Vinh Hung employees would remember these moments forever. The smiles and tears of today became a motivation for each of us, to tell ourselves that we are still lucky, still able to live a happy life. Furthermore, the children also helped us understand that our mission is not only "Connecting roads", but we also need to do more for the community, to connect hearts that are in need.
