The elevated section extends 8.5 km from Nhon to Cau Giay, while the underground section runs 4 km from Cau Giay to Hanoi Railway Station.<\/p>\n<p>The route starts at Nhon, follows National Highway 32 through Cau Dien and Mai Dich, passes Ring Road 3 and Cau Giay intersection (Ring Road 2), then continues through Kim Ma, Cat Linh, the Temple of Literature area, and terminates at Hanoi Railway Station on Tran Hung Dao Street.<\/p>\n<p>The project commenced in 2009 and was originally scheduled for completion in 2015 but experienced several delays. The elevated Nhon &#8211; Cau Giay section entered commercial operation on August 8, 2024, while the entire line is expected to be completed in 2027.
