The bridge deck is 25 m wide, designed with four traffic lanes and a maximum operating speed of 100 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>The main bridge itself is nearly 3 km long and features a reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete structure. It provides a navigation clearance width of 250 m and a clearance height of 48.4 m, and is designed to withstand seismic events up to Intensity 8. The bridge has three pylons, with the central pylon reaching a height of 99.74 m and the two side pylons standing at 94.5 m, supporting four cable-stayed spans.<\/p>\n<p>The project plays a key role in completing the transportation corridor linking the Northern Key Economic Region (Hanoi &#8211; Hai Phong &#8211; Quang Ninh), directly connecting Hai Phong and Quang Ninh while reducing the travel distance between Ha Long and Hanoi from approximately 180 km to 130 km.
