After completing the asphalt pavement, contractors will complete the remaining ancillary items such as railings, trees, drainage ditches, road surface paint, toll station system, etc. In September, the technical traffic clearance and operation will be carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway project is divided into 8 construction bidding packages with a total investment (phase 1) of nearly 20,000 billion VND. After more than 5 years of construction, 245 km of the road has been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n

This expressway starts at the intersection between National Highway 2 and North Thang Long – Noi Bai Expressway (Hanoi); The endpoint is at Quang Kim commune (Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province). This is part of the Trans-Asia Road AH 14.<\/span><\/p>\n

The completion of all projects will cut down the travel time from Hanoi to Lao Cai by half, to 3.5 hours. Previously, the contractor committed to Transport Minister Mr, Dinh La Thang that by the end of August, the entire route would be completed.<\/span><\/p>\n
