From the early morning of March 8, our ladies were warmly greeted by a special \u201ccharacter\u201d: the adorable and friendly \u201cBaby Three,\u201d charmingly portrayed by a male colleague. The festive mood continued with the interactive activity \u201cUnboxing \u2013 Scratch & Win\u201d, and the fun-filled mini-game \u201cSearching for Your Other Half.\u201d These brought laughter, bonding, and a meaningful sense of appreciation to a day dedicated to women.<\/p>\n

International Women\u2019s Day traces its origins to the late 19th century, beginning with the movement of female textile workers in the United States demanding better working conditions and rights. On March 8, 1857, textile workers in New York City rose up against harsh and exploitative labor conditions.<\/p>\n

In 1910, the International Socialist Women\u2019s Congress in Copenhagen (Denmark) officially designated March 8 as \u201cInternational Women\u2019s Day,\u201d a global day of solidarity and advocacy under the slogan: 8-hour workday – Equal work, equal pay – Protection for mothers and children.
